Description
Bevy was one of the first cocktail bars in Kaka’ako and it’s one of the best in Oahu. They focus on handcrafted cocktails made with fresh and homemade ingredients. They’re known for their new take on the Hawaiian Mai Tai (which they call a Mai Thai) — made with Bacardi 7 rum, Falernum, orange curaçao, lemongrass syrup, lime juice, and candied-ginger foam.
You can order different punch bowls if you’re in the mood to share cocktails or whiskey flights if you want to sample 3 or 4 different kinds.
The bar vibe feels industrial and artsy, with cool wall murals, exposed light bulbs, tables built out of repurposed wine boxes and booths made of recycled denim jeans.
Locals turn up for their lively happy hour deals on drinks and food. They like to have local DJs on the weekends, but it’s still a casual, neighborhood hangout.
They’ve got a tasty food menu full of sharable bites, made with local ingredients. Taco’ako, their sister restaurant, is right next door serving up tacos on homemade corn tortillas.

Bevy is one of the original tenants at SALT at Our Kaka’ako, a development aimed at reviving the area with cool shops and restaurants.

Co owner Christian Self is a professional mixologist with over 25 bar and restaurant openings under his belt. He was awarded “World’s Best Mai Tai” by Bacardi in 2010. He’s originally from Liverpool, England.

Self opened Taco’ako next door in 2018. He’s got a pretty serious gluten allergy and loves all the wheat free options with Mexican food. All their tacos are served on homemade corn tortillas.

-
Before Taco’ako, they’d run an east coast style market, called Bevy Market, next door.
