A few things
to know

Waikiki (on the South Shore) is where most people stay because it’s where you’ll find the bulk of hotels and resorts. FYI, there are lots of Airbnbs, but a couple years ago, Oahu signed a bill to limit short term rentals. Long story short, in touristy areas, like Waikiki, Airbnbs can pretty much operate as normal, but in other areas, they can only allow stays for 30 days or more.
